Menorca is a territory with a very rich traditional rural landscape. It is home to a great diversity of Mediterranean habitats, in which live species of animals and plants unique to the island, some of which are in danger of extinction.
It is a Biosphere Reserve, a place where human activity is carried out in a way that is compatible with the conservation of natural resources and cultural heritage, a sustainable island, an example for many others.
We can enjoy the Menorcan countryside at all times of the year, walking along the spectacular paths of the “Cami de cavalls”, going on 4×4 safaris, picnics in lush ravines, visiting authentic farms where cheese and sobrasada are still made in the traditional way, collecting aromatic herbs to make oils…
